Let's face it, most ATM's are pretty boring to look at. With their dull variations of grey most would lose out in a beauty competition to a gas station pump.
With so many of these same grey boxes dotting the landscape it’s almost impossible to differentiate between them. ATM wraps are an easy way to transform these drab rectangles into something colorful and fun that will set your branch apart.
Consider soda vending machines. From an industrial design perspective they are all the same. What makes them unique is branding. Without the colorful Coke, Pepsi or 7-Up graphics you would just have one sugary liquid dispensing machine that would look the same as the next. We know that what your ATM machines dispenses is more important than empty calories, so why ignore how it looks?

Designing ATM Wraps for Rocky Mountain Federal Law Enforcement Credit Union was just one part of the new branch redesign that we did for them. Instead of going with something plain we opted to integrate their branding into an ATM that really stands out. All of the visual elements are well balanced with the actual technology, and we really love their tagline at the top “Where heroes bank with confidence.” We think that this design says “wow” (okay we are a little bit biased).
This is an example of a larger piece, but as you can see below, just a dash of color and the use of bold graphics on a stand alone ATM can really transform it into something visually engaging.
